Dumb AP setup using LuCI - Xiaomi Mini

(might not be the best way but what the heck)

Setup Wireless as usual.
On the Network/Interfaces/LAN/EDIT/General(default tab) page

1. assign static address, netmask, gateway, broadcast
2. check: ignore interface : disable DHCP for this interface

on same page under Physical Settings

• check VLAN interface eth0.1 (lan)  - me thinks these are the white ports
• check VLAN interface eth0.2 (lan, wan, wan6) - me thinks this is the "blue port"
• check Wireless Network (once i get the 802.11ac up probably need to add it as well)

alternatively I simply removed the WAN interface and wired the port directly to LAN.
(Port4 is the blue WAN plug, off course you still need to bridge the wireless into the LAN as above)
