Can’t dismiss missed call notification on Android 12 Pixel phones (2 workarounds)

Some of Pixel users on the Android 12 beta build reported that missed call notifications can’t be dismissed or can’t be swiped away from the notification panel. 

Google have confirmed a fix to patch the issue with Google Pixel users. 

The update with the fix will roll out in the next version of Android. 

In the meantime, we show you in this blog post two workarounds to fix call notification issue on Android 12 :

Workaround 1:

An easy way to fix this problem is to simply reboot your phone, this should fix the issue.

Workaround 2:

Force stop the Google Phone app from ‘App info’ to end the app’s background activities.
