When the WiFi of your Huawei phone does not work try with:

Turn WiFi off and on again

Sometimes your phone's WiFi antenna may get stuck and won't turn on. To fix this try to:

  1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi or Wireless & Network > Wi-Fi .
  2. Turn off Wi-Fi by moving the switch (it should turn gray).
  3. Now wait 10 seconds and put the switch back (switch is now blue again).

Can you reconnect now? If no go to the next solution.

Forgot network

Another way to solve the problem is to forget your current Wi-Fi network and then try to connect to it again:

  1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi or Wireless & Network > Wi-Fi .
  2. Search for the network you want to forget and skin your finger on its name as soon as a new window pops up on the screen.
  3. Now tap on Forget Network .
  4. Now turn off your Wi-Fi, wait 10 seconds and turn it back on.
  5. Now tap the name of your Wi-Fi signal and connect.

Turn off Bluetooth

It is known that the bluetooth signal can deteriorate the speed and findability of the Wi-Fi signal. So it is advised to turn off your bluetooth:

  1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth .
  2. Slide the switch next to Turn on Bluetooth so that it turns gray.

Clear Wi-Fi cache

The Wi-Fi cache stores data and settings of the most recently used Wi-Fi networks. It could be that this data is not updated and your phone is using wrong information to connect.

To clear your Huawei's Wi-Fi cache:

  1. Turn off your device 's Wi-Fi .
  2. Go to Settings > Apps .
  3. Now swipe left or right and tap on All Apps .
  4. Search for Wi-Fi and tap it.
  5. Now choose Empty cache .
  6. Wait for your device to finish and turn your Wi-Fi back on.
  7. Try to connect again.

Reset network settings

This is how you clear all cached files and settings for not only your Wi-Fi, but also Bluetooth and hotspots:

  1. Go to Settings > Go to System > Go to Reset .

  3. With the down volume button choose wipe cache partition and press the power button .

System update

To hard reset your smartphone do the following:

  1. Press and hold the power button until your phone turns off.
