Elon Musk's satellite internet company, Starlink, has started offering "premium" service to its customers.
Starlink Premium is recommended for users or businesses that require superior performance while living in the most extreme weather conditions.
Starlink Premium users can expect:
- Download speeds between 150 Mbps and 500 Mbps.
- Latency as low as 20 ms in most locations.
The larger, rectangular Stalink Premium comes with :
- Better snow melt capabilities.
- Greater availability.
- Double the antenna capacity of the standard Starlink dish
- Better performance in case of minor obstructions, and greater throughput.
- The ability to have faster speeds in high temperature environments.
There is a limit of 3 locations per account and no location limit for Premium accounts.
With Starlink, there are:
- No Long-term contracts.
- No data caps.
- No exclusivity requirements.
The Starlink Premium kit consists of the antenna, WiFi router, and tripod.
Starlink Premium costs $500 per month.
Initial hardware is priced at $2,500 plus shipping and fees. Users place a deposit of $500 to reserve their order.
