CC 15.05.1 - Xiaomi Mini
Since DD might be still some time, why not give the CC update a try?
There should be a patch included that improves 2.4Ghz power.
upgrading was easy, download syspupgrade.bin and flash via upgrade firmware.
I used luci and chose not to keep settings, so basically it's back to 'firstboot', and everything worked as expected, with 5Ghz being stubborn - but eventually coming up.
5Ghz seems stable, 2.4Ghz doesn't look more powerful than with 15.05.
